Fairly clean hotel with a pleasant staff and clean rooms. Early check in & the service was nice. Very central location very close to the subway station in downtown. Not far from very safe central area in San Francisco, bus stops and Bart trains and Dolores Park and Twins Peak.

union hotel was a pleasant surprise. the welcoming staff made me feel at home, and the freshly painted walls added a nice touch. the convenient location near the train stop made it easy to travel to the airport. overall, a great stay.
